Elissa Barron
Elissa is a shameless melomaniac, and though she didn’t start singing out loud until she was in her 30’s, has been doing her best to make up for lost time. She is known for singing whatever and wherever she’s allowed.
In addition to singing and writing with Bardavissa, Elissa is one half of the Vancouver Island blues duo Mitch & the Barroness, and also currently a member of a local choir, a bluegrass group, and various informal singer/songwriter duos on Vancouver Island and beyond.

Barbara Denz
Barbara began choral singing at age 5 and violin lessons at age 8. In both, she was not performing the melodies, and she takes pride in being "the harmony person." On the choral side, it was folk musicians her mother was drawn to who caught her ear and she thanks them all for their input for interesting harmonies.
Although she has been singing tenor in choirs around the world since she was 15, her voice had finally aged into lower tenor ranges. She is quite smug about that.

David Denz
David started playing folk and classical guitar as a teenager but quickly branched out in all kinds of directions, eventually leading to a round of conservatory studies. Since then, he has returned to his earlier attraction to traditional music, exploring a variety of instruments, and a life-long love of writing and arranging for voices.
David frequently posts free sheet music of his work, including some of the arrangements performed by Bardavissa on his personal website and on IMSLP.
